Hooks for Hearts was developed to raise money for the American Heart Association and medical research pertaining to Cardiovascular Disease.

The American Heart Association is committed to reducing disability and death due to heart disease and stroke through their mission of “Building Healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.”

Cardiovascular disease is the #1 killer of people in the United States. Statistics show that one person dies every 30 seconds from heart disease.

Hooks for Hearts will also donate a portion of the proceeds to the La. ACC Foundation (Louisiana American College of Cardiology) to help fund and develop ground breaking research for Cardiovascular Disease.
